November 2nd, 2019 — Arasan Chip Systems announced the availability its MIPI CSI-2 v2.1 Tx and Rx IP Cores seamlessly integrated with its MIPI C-PHY v.1.2 IP supporting speeds of upto 3.5gsps and D-PHY v2.1 supporting speeds of upto 4.5gbps. With this latest CSI IP v2.1, provides a Total CSI IP Solutions supporting high speeds required by the next generation of high resolution image sensors and SoC?s.
Arasan CSI v2.1 IP support data scrambling/descrambling, all data types and virtual channel extension to support 16 VCs in DPHY mode and 32 VCs in CPHY mode.
Arasan has been a contributing member to the MIPI Association 2005 with over a billion chips shipped with our MIPI IP. Our MIPI D-PHY / C-PHY Combo IP is proven on our own TSMC 28nm Test Chip, has been licensed by multiple customers since 2016 and validated along with our CSI IP and DSI IP with 3?rd Party VIP as a Total IP Solution. Our MIPI CSI, DSI, DPHY and CPHY IP are also used in compliance and production testers further attesting the quality and compliance of Arasan IP.
The MIPI D-PHY / C-PHY Combo IP is also available off the shelf in 40nm, 28nm, 16nm and 12nm nodes.
An Arasan CSI IP + DPHY / CPHY IP Combo HDK based on Arasan?s TSMC 28nm ASIC is also available for licensees to prototype their Display or Imaging products before going to production. Customers can license with confidence in our MIPI D-PHY / C-PHY Combo IP knowing they can prototype with the real TSMC 28nm silicon which is used in a MIPI Compliance Tester to test for MIPI CSI, DSI, D-PHY and C-PHY Standards Compliance.
